THE REALITY

They’re at the peak of their careers.
And they’re struggling in silence.

73%

of working women aged 40 to 60 have had menopause symptoms.

67%

say their symptoms have had a mostly negative effect on them at work.

79%

find it harder to concentrate.

27%

say menopause has held back their career.

14%

have cut their working hours because of symptoms.

1 in 10

have left a job because of symptoms.

Sources: CIPD / YouGov, ‘Menopause in the workplace’, 2,185 working women aged 40–60, 2023 (6.2 million, 73%, 67%, 79%, 27%); Fawcett Society / Channel 4, 4,014 women aged 45–55, 2022 (14%, 1 in 10).

WHY NOW

Menopause action plans are coming. Be ready first.

Under the Employment Rights Act 2025, employers with 250+ staff will publish a menopause action plan alongside their gender pay gap report. It’s voluntary from April 2026 and expected to become a legal requirement from spring 2027.

5/10

Built to fit your menopause action plan

Awareness for all staff · Training for managers and HR · Support for reasonable adjustments · Access to specialist medical care · Anonymised impact data for your report

April 2025

The legal baseline

The EHRC confirms that menopause symptoms can count as a disability under the Equality Act 2010, so employers may have to make reasonable adjustments.

2025

Menopause in NHS Health Checks

The government announces menopause questions and support in routine NHS Health Checks for the first time.

2027

Action plans become law

Large employers publish a menopause action plan with their gender pay gap report: voluntary now, mandatory from 2027.

Today

Your head start

Act before you have to, and it becomes part of your employer brand, not just a box to tick.

How it works

Three parts,
one programme.

03Consult

Dedicated medical care

Menopause-trained doctors, whenever they’re needed.

  • First and follow-up video consultations, from home
  • The same doctor, over time
  • Personalised treatment, hormonal or not, where appropriate
  • Independent doctors and full medical confidentiality

Without training, they don't seek help. Without a doctor, nothing changes. Without follow-up, progress stalls. It's the combination that makes the difference.

HR dashboard

We measure impact.
Never individuals.

Take-up, engagement, symptoms and presenteeism, measured at the start and at 3 months. No individual data, no consultation content, no names.

Your questions

For HR, finance
and leadership teams.

Everything you need to know before rolling out Days of Confidence at your company.

Does the company have access to employees' health data?

No. You only see anonymised, combined figures, and groups of fewer than 30 people are never shown. No individual data, diagnoses or consultation content is ever shared with you.

What is ReConnect?

ReConnect is the Days of Confidence menopause care app. It puts their care team a message away: symptom tracking, secure messaging with their care coordinator, coaching, doctor-approved content and appointment booking.

Is hormone treatment given as a matter of course?

No. The doctor decides after a full review of the employee’s medical history, and the employee always has the final say. If hormone treatment isn’t suitable or wanted, the doctor offers a non-hormonal approach.
